A powerful treatment to repair & strengthen hair

Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve is an intense pre-shampoo treatment that is rich in proteins to target hair bonds to strengthen and repair from the inside out.

The hair is made of a keratin structure, which is reinforced by hair bonds. There are 3 types of bonds that make up the hair structure:

- Disulfide bonds, which are damaged by bleach and chemical treatments;

- Salt bonds, which are damaged by sudden pH imbalance;

- Hydrogen bonds, which are damaged by excess moisture and heat.

Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve is a powerful blend of superfoods and fortifying active ingredients that target all 3 types of bonds to repair, rebuild and restore hair fiber strength. It also provides protection to help against further damage. Balancing protein-rich and moisturizing products in your routine is key to healthy, strong hair. The more damaged and porous your hair is, the more protein-rich products from our Strength Recipes you should use.

How to use:

Apply generously on damp hair until it is fully saturated. Leave on for a minimum of 15 minutes, (or up to 30 if you have mid-high porosity hair due to coloring, heat styling, or damage). Rinse off thoroughly and follow with your favorite Curlsmith cleanser, conditioner, and stylers.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU USE THE BOND CURL REHAB SALVE?
This will depend on your hair’s porosity. To find this out, spray some water on a strand of dry, clean, product-free hair.
• High Porosity: the water will instantly absorb inside the hair. Use every 2-3 wash days for at least 30 minutes
• Medium Porosity: the water will form droplets on the surface of the hair and then absorb inside. Use every 3-4 wash days for at least 20 minutes
• Low Porosity: the water will form droplets on the surface of the hair, without absorbing. Use every 4-5 wash days for at least 15 minutes

Amazing product 🤩

What can I say about this product, it's just simply amazing! This is like a blessing for curly hair. The best treatment available in the market. It gives life back to curly hair, i literary mean this. Every curly hair head should give this a try. It's curl bond treatment with protein in it, so I can say better than olaplex treatment.

Think twice - fine hair

My hair is fine & wavy so I’ve had quite a learning curve & still haven’t figured it out completely. None of the oh so fab insta reviews mention potential hiccups. My hair likes protein & I touch up my roots regularly & I assumed this would be perfect. I experienced full on overload. If your hair isn’t terribly damaged then you maybe better off with olaplex just due to lower mental energy required to process & organise a wash day. If you really want to use this then start off with really small amounts & follow up sensibly with regard to your non-protein/protein stylers both on that washday & the next one.
A well-known Indian curly haired blogger has a solid review on her blog which takes into consideration hair porosity/density etc which will help you make an informed decision - not naming her because I’m not sure if the commenting rules allow it- a simple search will bring it up. I didn’t know about the post before purchase.
